Disclosure Policy

As I uncover more best practices on blogging, I learnt from an overseas blogger that we should include a disclosure policy in our blog. For more information, or to generate your own disclosure policy, you can visit http://disclosurepolicy.org/generator/bloggers

Here goes the disclosure policy for my blog:

Disclosure Policy

This blog is a personal blog written and edited by me to share my thoughts and opinions. My writing may be influenced by my background and experiences. Any product claim, statistic, quote or other representation about a product or service should be verified with the manufacturer, provider or party in question.

This blog abides by word of mouth marketing standards. I believe in honesty of relationship, opinion and identity. Other than third party ads from Google Adsense, products and services featured in my blog have been personally tested and used by me, unless otherwise explicitly stated.

This blog openly features the travel services of Agoda, KKday and Changi Recommends websites and the products of Jeunesse Global - all of which I am personally using with my own money.

When readers book their holiday accommodation through my Agoda affiliate link, book their holiday activities through my KKday affiliate link or purchases products or joins as a distributor through my Jeunesse Global website, I receive a commission from these companies for my referral. When readers book their overseas travel wifi through my Changi Recommends referral link, I receive a discount voucher.

Other than Google Adsense, this blog currently has not accepted any forms of advertising, sponsorship, or paid insertions. When accepted, such content, advertising space or post may not always be identified as paid or sponsored content. If you or your company would like to offer me a free product or service to review in this blog, you may contact me at wendyboey (at) gmail (dot) com

The compensation received will never influence the content, topics or posts made in this blog. I am firstly a satisfied consumer. When I’m satisfied with the product/service, I share openly. If I’m not satisfied with the product/service, I publish my honest opinions or not publish at all.
